What’s on This Bank Holiday Weekend

|

It’s safe to say we have all been a bit spoilt with bank holidays as of late. And just to make us smile a little more, we have ANOTHER BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND to look forward too.

Monday 27th May is Spring Bank holiday, which means most of us can enjoy a three-day weekend. We’ve been lucky enough to have three bank holidays in a row, but unfortunately this is it until the end of August. So make the most of it!

Whether you’re planning to get away, visit friends or family, clean out the garage or just having a relaxing one, here’s what’s on during the weekend…

EFL Play-Off Finals

It’s a good weekend of football if you’re a fan of the beautiful game; unless you’re a Leeds or West Brom fan of course. The English Football League Play-offs are spread over the three day bank holiday weekend.

Saturday, May 25: Newport vs Tranmere – 3pm
League One play-off final
Sunday, May 26: Charlton vs Sunderland – 3pm
Championship play-off final

Weekend Weather

It’s probably a little too early to know for sure what the weather is going to be like at the weekend, although the start of the week looks good. It might be worth putting the BBQs and hot tubs on standby and praying for another Easter Weekend!

Shropshire County Show 2019

The annual Shropshire County Agricultural Show is being held on Saturday May 25th. Held at the West Mid Showground in Shrewsbury, the event attracts thousands of visitors from across the country for a celebration of the rural community and to highlight the role it plays in our daily lives.
