The team at SSH are fully aware that the last ten months have been an extremely difficult and testing time for us all. However, to ensure that we can continue to provide an invaluable and important service to our customers, we continue to work hard to keep our employees and customers safe.
Whilst SSH would like to inform all customers that we are still open for business and have a wide range of vehicles available for self-drive hire, we also want to assure you that we continue to follow all of the COVID-19 safety guidelines and our employees and customers safety is our main priority.
This is why we have added a new ‘sealed and ready’ procedure to all of our vehicles. This means that once a vehicle has been thoroughly cleaned and sanitised, it will be locked and sealed ready for the next customer. If your vehicle does not have a seal on, then we will not allow you to touch or enter it.

Our team continue to implement robust cleaning techniques of our vehicles after each rental. In particular we are paying special attention to the places people touch, such as steering wheels, door handles and other hard surfaces.
We are frequently cleaning all of our facilities with recommended sanitising products and encouraging all employees to be vigilant about frequent hand washing.
We have extended our opening times so customers have more time to drop off and collect their vehicles and we continue to take the necessary steps to ensure the welfare of our employees, including maintaining a safe distance at all times.
